For two Fridays in a row, this has been my day at work:

FFS, bad communication, multiple managers bugging me, multiple people trying to do my job for me.

Long story short: a motor was acquired w/o my knowledge with the wrong part number. The right one which I was going to have couriered in on Saturday was with a different vendor, won’t be coming because the other guy was so sure he got the right part, he told my contact we don’t need it.

So let’s hope his motor works because he fucked over our backup plan in case it doesn’t.

...Now I have to drive home in the rain.

ETA: NOT JUST RAIN NOW BUT FLASH FLOODING, TOO!

yeah.

If you didn’t watch it all the way through, you won’t get the whole joke

Well, it starts with standard themes of opening credits found in sitcoms from the 1980's and 1990's (the doting mom, the hard work dad, the kids with one being the good one and the other always causing trouble, neighbors, friends, etc.) — the known expectations of network entertainment back then. But the tropes start to morph from family sitcom, to drama, to suspense, then horror, as the short continues.

Add in the well known proverb “too many cooks spoil the broth” and you have in a nutshell the day that I was having.*
